About Key Center Executive Director, Kerri Benson, M.Ed.
Kerri Benson is the Executive Director of the Key Center for Learning Differences located in Fort Worth, Texas. As Executive Director she oversees Key School, the Key Navigation and Training Institute, and the Key School Academic Language Therapy (KSALT) Program. With over twenty-five years of experience in education, she is thrilled to bring much needed services and resources to Tarrant County for students, families, and educators in the field of learning differences.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a specialization in Special Education from Texas Christian University and her Master of Educational Administration from Texas Christian University. Throughout her career, Kerri has worked in both public and private school settings and spent most of her career working with students in special education. During her tenure in the Birdville Independent School District, Kerri was named the 2013 Elementary District Teacher of the Year.
Kerri resides in North Richland Hills with her husband Rick and two sons, Jack and Cole.
