We have officially moved to our new home! Cheers to you for helping make our dream come true.

We wish you could have seen the smiles on the teachers’ faces as they moved into the new building last week. The entire staff was truly ecstatic and emotional. One of our teachers, who has been with us for 30 years, had tears in his eyes as he walked into his classroom filled with beautiful natural light, brand new desks and chairs, a fresh coat of paint, and new carpet. The view out his window overlooks the new basketball court, playing field and playground which will be accessible by the end of October. For the first time, Key School students will enjoy outdoor instructional and recreational areas.

Every classroom was decorated when the students and their families arrived for an Open House last Thursday afternoon. The students walked through their schedules locating their new classrooms, lockers, and designated lunchrooms. One parent was heard to say, “the school looks like a true academic academy, with heart.” Then many stopped by the snow cone station outside, enjoying their treat as they walked along the outdoor nature trail.

In October we will welcome the KSALT teacher trainees to a first rate training space including a lecture room, breakout rooms, a kitchen, and even a balcony to enjoy the beautiful fall weather. Key Center Training & Outreach will truly be a place where state of the art technology merges with the Key methodology, ultimately benefitting hundreds of students in and around Tarrant County.

We could not wait to share our excitement and appreciation with you. Your dedication and support of this project is why we are able to celebrate. A new chapter has begun, and we are grateful to you.
